Studio Policy

Cancellation/Tardiness Policy:
I understand that unforeseen events happen in everyone's life occasionally, and in the desire to be effective and fair to all students, the following policy is honored:

All cancellations require at least 24 hours notice to receive a make-up credit. Make- ups are valid for 60 days from the date of absence. (If you are a bit under the weather but still able/wanting to sing, consider scheduling an Online Lesson!) 

If you arrive late, your lesson may be cut short to accommodate the student following your lesson. Regardless of the length of the lesson, you will be responsible for the same lesson rate. Please call or text if you are running more than 5 minutes late. (415) 203-5036

Beginning in July Standard Lesson Rates are as Follows:

Single Lesson(subject to availability): $45/30 minutes; $67/45 minutes; $87/60 minutes

Month to Month Lessons (standard cancellation policy): $167/$240/$297

Payment is due by the 10th of each month for Month to Month and Semester Plans. No refunds on tuition will be granted. Cash and checks are accepted in person or credit cards can be used via PayPal/Music Teacher's Helper (Payments can be made on the Payments Page  — Link will also be included in your invoice, emailed monthly). Invoices will be sent to the email address on file.

Semester Plans:
If you are in a semester-long lesson commitment, you can receive lessons at a significant discount from my standard rate. Each semester lasts 16 weeks & includes 14 lessons. This plan is a flexible and affordable option for school aged students. The plan follows the academic year, and includes 2 excused absences. If the teacher cancels for any reason, make-up times WILL be issued. Make-up lessons may be available for student illnesses, but are subject to rescheduling availability. Make up days will most likely be scheduled toward the end of each semester. 

Payments can be made in advance for the full semester ($500/30, $700/45, or $900/hour), or in monthly installments ($125/30, $175/45, $225/60).

Please Note: Two weeks written notice (email is fine) is required to terminate your lesson plan.
